ClientHaus — Acceptable Use PolicyAcceptable Use Policy
Last updated: August 11, 2026
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") applies to everyone who uses ClientHaus, including licensed beauty and personal care professionals who maintain a storefront ("Providers") and members of the public who view or book through those storefronts ("Clients").
This Policy forms part of the ClientHaus Terms of Service. Where this Policy and the Terms of Service conflict, the Terms of Service govern.
ClientHaus is operated from Bakersfield, California, United States, and is available to Providers across North America.
2. What Providers publish
ClientHaus gives Providers a public storefront and gallery at a web address of the form clienthaus.com/your-business-name. Anything a Provider uploads or types into those surfaces is visible to anyone on the internet.
Providers are responsible for everything they publish. ClientHaus does not create, select, or endorse Provider content.
3. Prohibited content
Providers may not upload, publish, or display any of the following on a public storefront, gallery, or any other publicly visible ClientHaus surface.
3.1 Nudity and sexual content
No nudity or sexually explicit content of any kind may appear on a public ClientHaus page. This prohibition has no exceptions. Content is prohibited whether or not it is:
- artistic, editorial, medical, or clinical in nature
- blurred, pixelated, cropped, obscured, or otherwise altered
- consensual or accompanied by a release
- customary within the Provider's profession
This includes exposed genitalia, buttocks, and female nipples; sheer or transparent clothing that reveals the same; depictions of sexual acts; and content whose evident purpose is sexual arousal.
Providers whose work legitimately involves intimate placements or areas of the body — including certain tattoo, esthetics, and body art services — must not document that work on public pages. ClientHaus expects to offer private client record storage for this purpose in a future release; until then, such documentation must be kept outside the platform.
3.2 Content involving minors
ClientHaus prohibits any sexualized depiction of a minor without exception. ClientHaus reports suspected child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children as required by law and cooperates fully with law enforcement. Accounts are terminated immediately and permanently.
Photographs of minors receiving legitimate services may be published only with documented written permission from the minor's parent or legal guardian.
3.3 Other prohibited content
- Graphic violence, gore, or injury beyond what is inherent to documenting a professional service
- Hate speech, or content that demeans or harasses a person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation
- Promotion of illegal goods or services
- Content promoting self-harm, disordered eating, or dangerous practices
- Misrepresentation of licensure, certification, training, awards, or professional credentials
- Before-and-after imagery presented in a misleading way, or claims of results the Provider cannot substantiate
- Impersonation of another business or professional
- Malware, phishing, or content designed to deceive or defraud
4. Rights, consent, and ownership
By uploading any image or text, the Provider represents and warrants that:
- They own the content, or hold all rights necessary to publish it on ClientHaus.
- Every identifiable person appearing in an image has given permission for that image to be published commercially. For a minor, permission has been given in writing by a parent or legal guardian.
- Publication does not infringe any copyright, trademark, right of publicity, or privacy right.
- Publication does not breach any agreement the Provider has with a client, employer, salon, or third party.
Providers should obtain and retain written permission before publishing a client's image. A verbal agreement is not a record.
5. Automated screening
ClientHaus may screen uploaded images automatically before they become publicly visible. Images identified as potentially violating this Policy may be held for human review rather than published immediately.
Automated screening is a safeguard, not a guarantee. It does not review content for every requirement of this Policy, and it does not relieve a Provider of responsibility for what they upload. ClientHaus does not warrant that screening will identify every violation.
6. Reporting a violation
Anyone may report content that appears to violate this Policy by contacting ClientHaus at support@clienthaus.com.
A report should identify the storefront address, describe the content, and explain the concern. A person who believes an image of themselves has been published without their permission should say so and provide enough detail to identify the image.
ClientHaus reviews reports and acts on those it finds credible. Content reported as involving a minor, or as published without the subject's consent, is prioritized.
7. Enforcement
Where ClientHaus determines that this Policy has been violated, it may, at its discretion and without prior notice:
- remove or restrict access to the content
- make a storefront temporarily unavailable
- suspend a Provider's account
- terminate a Provider's account and subscription
Termination for a Policy violation does not entitle a Provider to a refund of any fee, including the setup fee, subscription fees, or add-on charges.
ClientHaus may report illegal content to law enforcement.
8. Provider records and private data
Content published to a public storefront is governed by this Policy.
Client records maintained privately within ClientHaus — including booking history, contact details, and notes — are governed by the ClientHaus Privacy Policy and applicable privacy law. Providers remain responsible for handling client information lawfully, including obtaining any consent required for text message and email communication.
9. Changes to this Policy
ClientHaus may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated to Providers before taking effect. Continued use of ClientHaus after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
